THE ROLE

CLIENT: Oil & gas

THE ROLE
Guide internal stakeholders in the adherence of renewable energy regulations – e.g. Renewable Energy Directive, Renewable Fuel Standard and/or other relevant schemes
Conduct Chain of Custody activities such as Mass Balance management and verification of sustainability documentation; Proof of Sustainability. Lead & prepare for periodical certification and sustainability audits and reporting.
Analyse ongoing industry, regulatory trends and data before developing plans to respond to changes within the Biofuels Sustainability Landscape.
Develop and maintain relationships with regulatory agencies – e.g. International Sustainability and Carbon Certification and Roundtable on Sustainable Biomass
Collaborate with internal stakeholders to develop and support sustainability due diligence activities
Oversee and participate in various sustainability projects and initiatives.
Other ad hoc assignments as necessary

 

REQUIREMENTS

Degree in Sustainability, Environmental Science or related disciplines
1 to 3 years of working experience in biofuels or energy industry
Knowledge of sustainability and renewable energy obligations
Attention to detail and accuracy of documentation
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to communicate with international team members
