Our client is seeking a Sustainability Analyst (Biofuels) to join their Singapore office. This role is ideal for a driven and detail-oriented professional with a strong understanding of renewable energy regulations, sustainability certification schemes, and compliance requirements within the biofuels sector.
Working closely with traders and cross-functional teams across multiple regions, you will play a key role in managing sustainability and compliance risks while supporting commercially successful trading activities.
Conduct structured monthly and quarterly closing reviews of Mass Balance accounts and related Sustainability Documents (SD/POS) for internal reporting.
Support the preparation of data and materials required for annual sustainability certification audits (including but not limited to the International Sustainability and Carbon Certification (ISCC) and Roundtable on Sustainable Biomass (RSB))
Monitor, analyse, and summarize emerging regulatory developments and market pertaining to Low Carbon Fuels (LCF) for internal stakeholders.
Contribute to digital transformation initiatives such as the automation of (manual) routine tasks and improve overall data accuracy.
Provide ad-hoc advisory to internal stakeholders regarding sustainability due diligence, operational workflows, and projects.
Other ad-hoc assignments as necessary.
Bachelor’s Degree
Fresh graduate or professionals with up to 1 year of work experience
Familiarity with programming and/or coding skills is a plus
Basic knowledge of the global energy trading and oil & gas landscape.
High attention to detail with accurate, well-controlled documentation.
Clear communicator with strong people skills for effective work with global team
