CLIENT: Metal trading sector
Being a country manager for a subsidiary office in Bangkok, you are responsible for overseeing daily sales and operations, driving business growth and its presence in Thailand market.
Ensure compliance with HQ policies and procedures while managing daily operations.
Expand the company’s market presence by identifying new business opportunities and developing growth strategies to achieve budget targets.
Establish new accounts and maintain strong relationships with existing suppliers/customers to ensure high satisfaction and sales target achievement.
Support HQ Trading by coordinating with overseas offices and assisting with trading activities, including handling documentation such as quotations and contracts.
Manage operations team and oversee order processing, pricing control, shipment tracking, and customer payments while ensuring operational efficiency.
Analyze market trends, competition, and business data to provide valuable insights for strategic decision-making.
Conduct KYC procedures, monitor customer and supplier risks, and ensure compliance with company policies.
Oversee office expenses and financial reporting. Ensure financials comply with local regulations.
Implement HR strategies and recruitment, if required
Bachelor’s Degree
Proven experience in a leadership or senior sales role within the metals trading industry.
Strong business development and relationship management skills.
Familiarity with financial, HR, and risk management practices.
Ability to work independently while maintaining strong communication with HQ and other regional offices.
Proficient in English and Thai is a must to communicate with trading partners and regional colleagues.
