Lead and oversee daily accounting operations
Prepare timely and accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with SFRS/IFRS.
Support SGX-related reporting and disclosures, including financial announcements and board reports.
Ensure timely submission of tax filings, GST returns, and statutory financial reports.
Liaise with external auditors during quarterly reviews and annual audits.
Stay updated with local and international accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
Assist in budget preparation and periodic forecasts.
Monitor actual vs. budget performance and provide variance analysis to management.
Monitor and manage cash flow, banking transactions, and treasury functions.
Prepare regular bank reconciliations and manage relationships with financial institutions.
Supervise junior finance team members and review their work.
Maintain and enhance internal control procedures and accounting policies.
Bachelors’ Degree in Accountancy, Finance and/or related field
5 years of relevant experience in petrochemical/energy/oil trading sector
Certification in CPA / ACCA / CA (Singapore) is preferred.
2 years in a supervisory and/or managerial role.
Prior experience in a listed company is an advantage
Well versed with China accounting standards
Strong technical knowledge of SFRS/IFRS and MAS/SGX regulatory requirements.
Must be proficient in Chinese to effectively communicate with Chinese-speaking stakeholders and partners
