Be involved in the trade operations for petrochemical platform. Responsible include:
Check trader deal sheet against company’s contract
Issue instructions to counterparties to execute final contract, or make amendments
Instruct Letter of Credit issuance/receipt of L/Cs as per contract
Check drafted L/C to ensure details matches trading contract terms
Amend L/C terms if necessary and ensure no delivery is affected
Instruct issuance of outgoing invoice/process of incoming invoices
Manage interface to local transshipment companies, i.e. truck, rail, barge and vessels, and local inspection companies
Update ETRM for cost and live events
Manage all aspects of transshipment including freight and demurrage cost
Trouble shoot for truck and rail scheduling to terminal and offtake including quality and quantity
Nominate vessels as agreed by the trader
Issue Documentary Instructions to meet L/C, customs and other contractual requirements
Appoint inspectors for quality and quantity checks
Process trading invoices
Storage management
Clear vessel with terminal, counterparties and vetting process through charterers
Issue instructions to the vessel via brokers (voyage orders/agents appointed/LOIs)
Process shipping invoices
Ensure correct and timely data input of the trade deals into trading system
Ensure pricing details are correct and issue outgoing invoice
Check and allocate incoming invoices for cargoes and related costs
Timely and accurate file according to agreed procedures in the system.
Bachelors Degree from a recognized university
3-7 years of experience in Petrochemical operations (including trucks, rail and vessels transportation) in a trading environment.
Be familiar with Petrochemical T&C’s, INCO Terms, vessel characteristics and freight calculation
Fluency in Russian language to communicate effectively with counterparties in Russia
Knowledge of operational and financial procedures
Demonstrate versatility; ability to adapt to situations and resolve problems quickly.
